  • What to Do

Christmas in NantucketChristmas is a magical time of year here on Nantucket. From the freshly snow-covered streets to the neighborly festivals, it’s the perfect time visit. Attend the annual Christmas Stroll and explore the Christmas marketplace while joining in on events such as the ugly sweater contest and the arrival of Santa Clause. Following is the annual Festival of Trees, which occurs throughout December at the Whaling Museum.

February and March bring an array of events and activities, as well. Snag your ticket to Paint the Town Red and indulge in a prime rib dinner and silent auction or let loose at The Chicken Box’s annual Hometown Hoedown.     

  • Where to Eat

Trade the umbrella-adorned fruity cocktail for a toasty Irish coffee this winter. Indulge in the same great food with half of the wait time. Check out our neighbors Òran Mór Bistro for an intimate, candle-lit setting paired with shopping in nantucketdecadent dinner and dessert options. Keepers is a quaint, family-style restaurant just outside of town that serves up warm soups and comfort food.
